Our Vision
The vision of Open Door Outreach Ministries is to bring together a group of believers who Love God and are hungry for the Word of God.
We are committed to teaching our members the whole Bible, both the Old and New Testaments. Enabling, equipting and giving them the oportunity to both serve and be served in the body of Christ.
our comitment is to be a witness to the community and the surrounding area and to the uttermost part of the world as the great commmision commands.
Our church was founded February 13th 2003 by Pastor Kenneth E. Jarman. Pastor Ken had a desire to see his family and friends worshiping God together "as they had done in the past". Through many hours of prayer, God put into Pastor Ken's heart that if he would step out in faith, and take up the vision God had given to him, God would make a way for this to happen.
It took a lot of hours, praying and studying God's Word, and a lot of paper work, but on February 13th 2003, Open Door Outreach Ministries was born and Pastor Kenneth E. Jarman was Ordained of God to Pastor this Church.
On March 30th, 2003 we held our first services in a garage in Albert and Carol Jarman's back yard. Jesus was born in a stable, so why couldn't we have church in a garage, after all, it could seat 45 people. The Word of God was preached by Pastor Ken and God was with us. Then God opened another door for us and we moved into our present location at 2503E Neuse Blvd, on May 11th, 2003. God's Word is preached every Sunday and on Wednesday Nights we have a solid look at God's Word through a verse by verse Bible Study. Once again our family and friends are worshiping God together.

Open Door Outreach Ministries is happy to announce that God has opened another door for us. As of May 22, 2008 God has Opened the Door in the Charleston, S.C. area for us to Minister in that area. We have started with a Bible Study and Teaching Ministry.
